I recently bought a couple of H and R single shot shotguns/rifle. From SN, both were manufactured in mid 70s. One came with a 30-30 barrel, and I am not sure which if either action is designed to handle rifle pressures.
The receiver SNs are AN250161 and AL354747. Can anyone help me.
Thanks
Jerry

Welcome to the forum, Jerry -

First, I moved your post here as it is a better fit in this forum -

You say one has a 30-30 barrel, but don't mention what the other has. This would help.

Also, the 30-30 barrel; do you mean the CHAMBER is sized to hold a 30-30?

Personally and off the top of my head, I cannot imagine a rifle manufactured in the 70's with a 30-30 chamber that is NOT set up to handle rifle pressures -

And I do find tons of ads for H&R 30-30 single shot rifles -

BUT I AM NO EXPERT IN THIS AREA!!

Come on, guys - jump in here!!
