Hello everyone; I am trying to find out if anyone can help with this; H&R ([email protected]) historians could not.
When was the change made/ what years was the Trigger Guard with one (1)pin (pin through the frame, trigger guard and sear) stopped and the 2 pin mounted trigger guard becoming standard.Iif you were to look at pictures of the Sportsmans you can clearly tell if it has 2 or 3 pins through the side.

One (1) of them is always the trigger pin.

Some very old models had 3 pins from pictures, then some had 2 pins, the newer or later models all have had three in pictures.
It had to have changed somewhere in time. Just need to know when.

Thanks in advance if you can narrow this down if not an exact year.
