Ok, shooting a Benelli 3.5" 12 gauge with Federal # 4 premium copper plated shot. It did very well at 35 yards. (I would not want to be the gobbler catching that load). In reading the reviews, several have said "don't shoot steel". With no explanation. I was thinking of using it with 3.5 Steel BBs for Snow geese but don't want to do anything more stupid than I've done before. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on this?

When shooting steel shot you want to use a modified or improved choke tube. The undertaker is an extra full I believe. Also when hunting water fowl you want the pattern to open up.

Here is the only choke tube that doesn't have the "lead shot only' warning that I know of.
It is for waterfowl & to hunt waterfowl you have to use steel shot.
