I can't verify this, but it sounds about right.....the Stinger's smarter than the raghead.

Hamas terrorists smuggled in portable anti-aircraft Stingers in hopes that they could use them to down Israeli aircraft during Operation Cast Lead.

"We were disappointed by them, and they were found to have been useless," a Hamas source said. The weapons wouldn't operate due to an embedded identification system, reportedly of Israeli issue, which recognized IAF choppers and drones, displaying the message "Friendly Aircraft."

    Gotta love it!

Too bad the Stingers didn't have an unfriendly ground mode.
The lock on and tracking would have been a hoot to watch. ;) :D

I would like to see the Camel Jockey Self Destruct Mode in action myself.

Very nice and plausible. In amongst all that hi tec electronics almost anything could be added without anyone knowing. How about a self destruct recognition system. If a friendly gets the buzz, they transmit the destruct signal? Big surprise!!!

you are on to something. put little gps devices on them and have someone sell "duds" to terriorest that way we could find their caves and also set them up with remote bombs and start doing away with them.
