Colonel Fremantle of Her Majesty’s Coldstream Guards is an adoptive Southerner that had some very good things to say about the Great State of Texas.

I have Yaqui relatives that don't celebrate it either.

It’s spring time, it’s warm out and everyone is looking for a party. Throw in some Pedro's Tamales ,Negra Modelo, Shiner Bock and a few Chimichangas and we will celebrate any holiday. So the 5th of May sounded like a good enough excuse.

So when someone seez happy Cinco do Mayo, that just means have a beer my friend for life is good.

Sorry, muchachos, I'm not part Mexican. I'm part Chinese, Spanish (Spain), Scottish, and Norwegian. Might be a little of a few other things, but those are the only ones I know of.

I'm an American, not a mexican. I celebrate the 4th of July and couldn't care less about the 5th of May.

I give up, clearly ya'll don't understand where I'm coming from.

Mexico doesn't even celebrate this day. Here in Texas it's viewed as a spring festival.

So as I open this next beer, forget I said anything.
