I listed my Ponsness Warren Metal Matic P-200 reloading press online yesterday and so far it has sky rocketed to $78.00 and I have 8 days left. This is amazing. It is a nice press and I hope that who ever gets it will appreciate it because it is in great condition.

Has anyone else had luck selling reloading stuff auction style?

Also, I am not posting this here to solicit. I am just excited at the success I am seeing and was curious about the success others have had.

I've done quite a few auctions and scour estate sales when I get a day off work. You'll get near or top dollar if you clean up the equipment and list it properly. Auction titles are key to drawing the most lookers/bidders. Do your homework to see what it's bringing and how many bidders are interested. If there's alot of activity, list it for a penny and no reserve, you'll get more in the end. All in all, I've done over 1000 transactions on flEaBay and CL; never had a horrible experience yet. Had some scammers, but covering my butt always and never taken.

Good Luck Jimbo !

I buy and sell a lot of stuff on eBay. The largest reloading "thing" that I ever sold was a Lee Loadmaster progressive press that I learned to hate after getting my first squib loads ever. I don't remember what it sold for but it was more than I paid for it used. I quickly figured out why I got it so cheap. I have sold a few die sets but didn't make a killing on those.

I dont see an issue with it. No different than listing in buy/sell/trade.

I haven't sold any on-line, but I have bid on some. My Lyman press I found at a yard sale for $19 - but well, I live in nowhere Idaho so when someone passes away there no knowing what may get sold for nothing. There are three sites to sell them from for sure - PM me and we'll continue the discussion if you want. ebay allows listing of reloading equip. You do want to put it in the right category though to be sure.
