Has anyone had luck getting your money back when FedEx claims to have left your package but didn't

I ran into this earlier this week. The delivery driver showed delivered with no signature. I was home all day with my daughter and my wifes niece. FedEx never came but showed a delivery.

This has happened before about a month ago. I ordered some ammunition and it showed delivered. Nothing was there. I got a call the next morning from an Auto Repair shop 9 miles away saying they had my package. Lucky for me my phone number was on the outside of the box. My own opinion is that the driver missed my delivery while in my area and didn't want to drive the 9 miles back up to deliver so they just dropped it off where ever and scanned it delivered.
I went to the FedEx website to start a claim and they showed delivered and there was no way to start a claim. Any ideas?

I have HD cameras around my house covering all doors and driveway.
More than once a package was claimed as delivered and it was not. I send the camera footage with a stamped time/date showing the package was never delivered.
With this type of proof every insurance claim was paid out rather quickly.

    Call and complain
    Call and complain
    Call and complain

May take a bit, but they will eventually.

    Did you check https://www.fedex.com/en-us/customer-support/claims.html ?

Over here the sender has the contract with the courier and is the party to start a claim, no idea how it works for you however.

I did that and since it shows delivered it won’t allow me to submit the claim

if i have a choice UPS fed-ex is a joke in this area. i am on first name "Tim" with my guy. different driver with fed- ex every time. lots of cross delivery in the area too.
contact the shipper! find the shipping center near you and go from there.

I have never had a problem with Fedex or UPS, but the lazy, lying scum at USPS drive me nuts. I can complain online, but no one ever responds. I can go to the post office, but the boss is never "in." I can call, but I can only leave a message that no one ever returns. Grrrr...

You may have better luck contacting the shipper. They are the ones that contracted FedEx, so FedEx is beholding to them, not you.

We have had similar problems with Federal Express. 3 times in the last 6 months a Fedex package had indicated delivered when it had not been. All 3 times it arrived the following day. Hopefully it will be the same for you.

Should it not arrive and Fedex deny you the ability to process a claim, I would dispute the charge on my card and have it removed.

Yes, same here. Hopefully this is the case for the OP. Kind of forgot until you mentioned it. I've had at least a handful of similar situations recently. I'd get an email notification saying the package was delivered when it wasn't. Tracking usually indicated something off the wall IE, it went out for delivery, then wound up in a distro center 2 states away. Always happened after hours, so the next day rarin' to call somebody, it shows up out of the blue.
I deal with FEDEX/UPS for work and they are stressed, particularly FEDEX.

    Daughter had 2 delivered today.
Set them on porch and left.
I was here all day. Dogs never barked and they bark if a fly buzzes the front door.

I got two deliveries yesterday, one UPS and one FexEx. The UPS guy put the box on the front porch, rang the door bell and left. The FexEx guy left the box inside my garage with no notice of any kind.

Now, Amazon has it under control, with the last two deliveries I got from them, they took pictures of the box sitting on the front porch and sent me an email with those pictures attached!

I went in to Fedex's website to get an email to send a message regarding their employee's illegal behavior and was surprised to find out that they have NO customer service email that you can contact, a phone call is the ONLY way.
