I've got a magazine that came in a box of junk from a friend. The magazine holds 15 22LR rounds.It's about 5 inches long. I'm sure it's old, more than 30 years old. Anyone have an idea what gun it might go to? I don't even know if it's a rifle or pistol magazine. Thanks for the info.

It looks like my Smith and Wesson .22 compact clip.

Don't know what it is for though.
