A friend of mine has this revolver. We are trying to identify who made it but so far have been unsuccessful. Any information that you could offer would be greatly appreciated. The only markings on the gun are on top of the barrel (shown in the 3rd picture) the finish on the gun makes it difficult to get a decent picture but it says " for Smith & Wesson .32 CTGS"

It looks like one of the revolvers made by Meriden Firearms Co. Circa 1904-1919. This firm was started by arms designer Andrew Fyrberg. Sears Robuck bought out Fyrberg in 1904 and started their own arms factory in Meriden Conn. They had a line of shotguns, small bore rifles and various revolvers.
