high standard- diamonds in the ruff

    Sorry, but Hi Standard didn't chrome plate guns. They used electroless nickel.

    Mine sure did look like chrome. I never saw nickel shine like that.

    Plating shows the polishing of the metal underneath. On brightly polished guns, it can be difficult to tell.

    I always heard that it was nickel. Well whatever it sure is pretty :) The newest pickup shoots awsome! Very accurate!
    I've taken it to the range 4 times already, we have began to really bond. Very happy with my less then $200. find. :D I feel very lucky I paid much more for the other two.
