I think I just found that they're made in Russia. This right?

i have been unable to find the country of origin.

the box is white with agreen strip alone the top of the flap and the line runs along the top of the box too.
top says 'new' heavy metal free
non-corrosive primers. there's a logo which is a circle with a vertical line down the center transposed over a letter M.
then HMF in a retangle and kvb-9e in a retangle.

okay i just looked inside the box and on the individual packs on the back there's printed: made in russia! murom apparatus.

Did you ever get these primers to work? I bought a thousand of them at a recent gun show and I am having terrible problems with them. I have had squib loads and tumbling bullets. I am using Unique and #5 in 38 spcl with 158 grn bullets both cast and jacketed.

I've been loading these in 380, 9mm and 40sw with Solo 1000 and Accurate #2.
I've loaded over 1000 rounds without any problems at all.

They do seat a little harder than winchester,
but are about the same as seating CCI primers.

I've been loading the 9mm (which I shoot more of) with Hornady's Encapsulated bullets to make "non-toxic" bullets. About 20% of the lead/heavy metal resulting from combustion is from the primer and 80% from the bullet. If you use HMF primers with encapsulated bullets, you get rid of the lead and heavy metals in the "vapor".
