I'm hoping to have my ccw soon. My carry gun is going to be a sig sp2022. Looking for concealed holster advise. My normal attire is T-shirt’s and jeans. Shorts in the summer. What’s a good place to start looking?

For jeans and a tshirt, I arry my PT111 in an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0. Im a small fella, and in jeans and a tshirt, you cant see it. I dont own any shorts, so cant comment there.

I will second the Alien Gear, but I carry a much smaller Sig 938 in it. I am pretty hefty and only wear loose button down shirts (Hawaiian style) and the gun cannot be seen.

I'm going to mirror the Alien Gear suggestions. Very happy with mine.

I like leather. Milt Sparks Versa-Max II or a DM Bullard Dual Carry. A good belt is a must also.

I am a crossbreed fan for my 1911's specifically the super tuck. As for shorts I don't wear any but I'm sure I would stay away from an ankle holster.;)

I carry my SD40VE in an aliengear cloaktuck 2.0 and it disappears. I'm a bigger guy though. I also like the smart carry holster. Use a belly band holster for long trips or if I'm spending all day in the truck/van. There is no end all holster, only what works best for you. You might look into aliengear shapeshift.

I will add due to my job I walk around in mostly in 5.11 pants and a company T so I wear an over shirt I carry Leather most days Galco is what I’m partial to but there are other high ride flat pancake holsters in leather that are really good. When I wear shorts sometimes I carry a shoulder holster or in board shorts a micro 9mm by Sig in the cargo pocket. You are carrying a big gun I’d go with a high ride paddle holster Galco or Blackhawk SERPA. As for Alien gear only one guy at corporate uses them some people love them other people like myself find them to be way to much panel and slow on the draw I just can’t get it in the correct position for my own style.

Just as important is a high quality belt.As I've gotten older the minimalist approach is working,I carry either modified cross draw or ALMOST appendix-why almost-because MrHappy doesn't like a gun pointed at him.Holsters are really an individual thing..I still like leather.
