I have a muzzleloader that was passed down to me from my dad. I am looking for more information about it, and what the value might be. Engraving on it reads "Hopkins & Allen Arms Hawthorne NJ 50 C 4134"
The original Hopkins and Allen company never made muzzle loaders.
But somehow, Numrich acquired the rights to the name and used it on muzzle loaders (IIRC they were all bottom hammer, but I may be wrong) in the 1950's. More recently, other companies have made copies of the Numrich guns. Maybe others can provide more info and a value, but the gun is not an antique so it would be priced in the same range as similar modern muzzle loaders.
