Very little research has been done on Hopkins and Allen and the company's they absorbed/bought/took over. After a large fire at Hopkins and Allen's plant in 1901 they purchased Forehand Arms company to be able to remain in business. H&A produced the same pistols that Forehand had been making, the first off the line still had all Forehand markings, then as the old parts were used up, all the markings were eventually completely marked Hopkins and Allen. Hopkins and Allen folded their tents in 1915. There is not a large collectors base for the H&A firearms at the present time. People are starting to collect them because they are still affordable, value at the present time on your handgun would probably be around 125-150. Other members on the forum may have different values, if so, perhaps they will post.

Rjay knows a lot better than I do, but in that condition, I think the main problem would be finding someone who wants it at any price. OTOH, it is a 6-shot 32, which is scarcer than the 5-shot 38s.
