Well, the .22 LR was developed in 1887, and H&A closed it's doors in 1915, so you have a 18 year window. BTW, are you sure it is not a .22 Long and 22 short?

Actually that crossed my mind and even more so when I could find no such animal in H&A's stable, That's why I decided to give only a little general information.
According to DeHaas-
hopkins and allen rifles made 1888-1915
model 922 falling block --
small action = 22,25,32,38 rimfire and 32,28 center fire - take down -
medium action and large action -
the larger actions were apparently made both as larger caliber rifles and shotguns.
His info is rather sparse without dates of manufacture -
