Man Oh Man. I just finished an extensive internet search.....again..... regarding concealed carrying here in my new home state of Oklahoma. I understood new laws went into effect Nov 1st, 2019 and I was “told” by people that made me think they were “in the know“ that those changes meant that it was now legal to open carry but a concealed permit was still required to carry a concealed handgun. Hogwash!! Remember I’m a CA native and have spent most my adult life having a 10 day waiting period/background check, can only buy one handgun a month and all the other restricting muck so any new 2A freedoms I’m enjoying are mind blowing. Now I learn I’ve been lied to.
So! Guess what I’m doing tomorrow? :)
Yup, time to figure out which one I wanna carry and get myself a holster.

I'm going to suggest looking at Alien Gear holsters. They are the most comfortable holster I have ever found.

Just keep in mind that you still need a Conceal Carry license to Condeal carry in reciprocating states.

After all the jumping through bureaucratic hoops back in NY, my first week here in Alaska I stopped by Police HQ to verify what I'd researched about Alaska's laws concerning firearms in general, and handguns in particular. Showed the LT my 24/7 unrestricted, NICS Certified concealed carry license, which he examined as if it were some sort of rare artifact, then told him I'd brought the .38 & .45 listed on the license with me to Alaska. After explaining some of the very logical do's and don'ts, he said "basically it just boils down to don't do anything stupid" - or words to that effect. Assured him I'd made a career of not doing stupid, and that was that - good to go. A couple of weeks later I bought a 1911A1 at a Sitka gun show (garage sale). :)

In Texas, it is now a License to Carry, you can when I took my marksmanship test, I used a semiautomatic, that way I could carry semi or revolver.
If you took the test with a revolver, you could only carry a revolver.
Today I would have to read up on that.
I love my right to open carry.
Being I am getting old, my senses are slipping a little, so, I choose to conceal with my Uncle Mikes #5 in the pants holster.

Firpo, several sites can give you up to date carry rules and regs. I like to use the NRA and or USCCA.
Isn't freedom to be rid of the chains of California? I left there 25+ years ago never turn back.
    Enjoy the fresh air.

You are correct, you no longer need a permit in Oklahoma to carry concealed or open. You do however need one to carry in states that honor Ok permits.
I take it you're thinking a holster for concealed carry? Alien Gear.

Idaho is constitutional carry everywhere if you are a lawful gun owner and outside urban areas for non residents as well.

I moved from CA as well and the first month I was a resident of Idaho, I bought my first AR 15. Glad I am not in Kommiefornia at all anymore.

I think that I would need to buy new suit coats to cover that mess. And keep a list of what was where .

And we're just seeing what he's carrying on his back and underarms. Wonder how much more's clanking around on his front. Just had this funny mental image of the guy walking under or past an industrial strength magnet. :)
