I hate it when threads are "dredged" from the bottom...

    THE FORUM MASCOTT...
I start reading a thread that sounds familiar but i don't put 2 and 2 together until i see the name of a deceased forum member and then i go thru the whole sour stomach "routine" when thinking about the untimely departure of that friend.

There are times i wish they would just start a second thread instead...but i'm sure most of y'all would disagree with me on this one...

I guess everyone deals with things differently... When I see one of the fellas post's, I always smile and think of how, if I were gone, it would be a neat way to "live on" somehow...

I have to go with crpdeth on this one, even at 0030 and unable to sleep, again.

Damn old injuries, were they worth it? Heck yes.

I remember when I first came on this forum. I delved very deeply in to the archives and found many I wanted to bring back to life with a commentof my own.

I think it is common for new comers to do that. I suspect we get many who register because they have read many old posts which appeal to them.

I'm with crp on tis one. It gives me a glow to know that yet another newcomer has been introduced to an old friend.

I promise not to post in this thread. That will keep it from getting back to the top.

    Oh... crap...

Add my vote to the majority. I like reading what some of the old guys left.

To be honest, I was ready to jump on the negative side--no offense. But after reading some of the responses, I now know why I like this place!!! Thanks.
