    He's still around?
    How did he get past the door with teachings like that?

    God is rather blunt about "alternative gospels": 1 Timothy 6: 3 If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, 4 he is conceited and understands nothing;

    And here I thought "Loonie Toons" were gone forever.

    Funny - I can't recall any Bible passages where Lord Jesus used terms like "dirty dung eating dogs". I wouldn't imagine Him using terms like that when He DOES return. I figure that the "Reverend" Moon (as well as the "Reverends" Sharpton and Jackson) are gonna have a whole lot of 'splaining-to-do-Lucy when it's their time to stand before the Lord.

    I don't think any of us are going to get a chance to explain anything. We'll stand there and as our lives are unfolded, and have no chance to defend anything!

    Well, the man's been dead for five years, but the church is still rolling along, under the leadership of his widow and his son (the owner of Kahr Arms).

    Am I missing something? Isn't that what happens in Religion?

    The Catholic Church is still going long after the death of its founders; ditto for the Mormons. Even Sister Aimee's Foursquare church is still going 70+ years after her death.

    Jim Jones started a religion - The People's Temple.

    Jones and 900 of his followers committed suicide.

    The People's Temple no longer exists.

    Yes, some religions live long past the person that started them. Most die with the founder.
