On the way home from the range this afternoon I stopped by my LGS with the sole intent of buying a Kel-Tec PMR-30. I should have known that when I went to get one, he would have none in stock. That is exactly what happened, story of my life, he had a dozen of them last week but sold them all. I went ahead and had him order one for me and since I has just sold another AR15 at lunch, I had the money and paid for it today.

As I was getting ready to leave, I heard my grandson ask him "what is that funny looking thing over there by the AR's?" and I heard him answer "It's called a CX-4"!! I stopped dead in my tracks and - - - well, anyway to make a shorter story, it is now residing at my house.

    $500 out the door.

Nice looking rifle. Hows the ammo situation up there where you live? No use having a gun if you can't get ammo for it.

I've been reloading 9mm forever! No shortage around my house. I shot at least 150 this morning and didn't even pick up the brass (which now I wish I did).

Nice snag George, and at a great price too. Do you have some dirt on the LGS owner?

I bought one of these in 2003 and it was one of those "why did I sell it" guns. They are so terribly impractical but I have wanted another one since the minute I sold the other one.

I think for the first few years he owned his own store, I kept him in business. Nothing on him but here is sort of a funny story. The owner of my LGS has worked as a "gun" salesman most of his whole life. He reminded me that the first one I bought 17 years ago, was bought from him when he worked at another gun shop here in Athens. I don't know how he remembered that but when he told me, I remembered it too!

I bought the 9mm version and the one that takes the Beretta 92 mags. I just ordered some 30 round magazines for it. I had one 30 rounder for the first one I had and was a lot of fun.
