My hunting club held a game dinner last night and we raffled off a whole bunch of stuff including 5 firearms. I put $100 worth of tickets in one bucket and won! Ruger American .308 with a Vortex scope. I never win anything lol. I’m pretty stoked!

Very nice. I never win anything either. If there was a drawing for 3 prizes and only 100 tickets sold for that drawing and I bought 98 of them I'd still lose.

I've won a few guns myself but if I added up what I have spent on tickets I could buy a factory which makes them.
One of the best deals I ever got was at a deer association banquet. One of my friends won a Savage 22-250 package gun. I talked with him after the banquet was over and congratulated him. He asked me, "Want to buy it"? I asked him, "How much"? He said, "$200". I told him I'd take it. After I paid him I asked, "Why did you want to sell it so soon"? He replied, "It's for a right handed shooter, I'm left handed". I said, "Thank you" and bought him a drink.

I have won a few firearms at my club range meetings, some are good some are not worth much but it supports the club.
