Very nice. I never win anything either. If there was a drawing for 3 prizes and only 100 tickets sold for that drawing and I bought 98 of them I'd still lose.
We had a drawing for some used 3D printers at work. There were 3 people who put in for them, me and two other guys. There were 3 printers and three entrants, you would think it would be pretty easy to win one. Well the rules were that you could win multiple times (some were more complete than others so it gave you a possible parts printer) and I lost on all 3. They give away old equipment at work all the time and it has become a joke in my department anytime I enter because I never win. Ever!

My hunting club held a game dinner last night and we raffled off a whole bunch of stuff including 5 firearms. I put $100 worth of tickets in one bucket and won! Ruger American .308 with a Vortex scope. I never win anything lol. I’m pretty stoked!

In South Africa that would have gone back to the gun shop till you're license came after months of waiting since applied for it, at the nearest police station.

So I got out to the range this morning. Now, I’ll start by saying the conditions weren’t great: about 30*, a foot of snow on the ground with bright sun and a lot of glare, and very breezy. I was able to get the scope zeroed-ish at 50yards. Seemed like my point of impact was bouncing around a lot. I intended to get it out further with a bunch of different loads, but only got to put about a box of PMC FMJ through it. I had several rifles to zero and time constraints. Add to that moving targets entailed trudging through that foot of snow. Anyway, the rifle shoots nicely and functioned perfectly with the small amount of rounds down range. The turret detents on the Vortex Crossfire II did not feel as positive as those on my other Crossfire II, but the glass was just as clear. Looking forward to getting this rifle out again under better conditions.
