So I got out to the range this morning. Now, I’ll start by saying the conditions weren’t great: about 30*, a foot of snow on the ground with bright sun and a lot of glare, and very breezy. I was able to get the scope zeroed-ish at 50yards. Seemed like my point of impact was bouncing around a lot. I intended to get it out further with a bunch of different loads, but only got to put about a box of PMC FMJ through it. I had several rifles to zero and time constraints. Add to that moving targets entailed trudging through that foot of snow. Anyway, the rifle shoots nicely and functioned perfectly with the small amount of rounds down range. The turret detents on the Vortex Crossfire II did not feel as positive as those on my other Crossfire II, but the glass was just as clear. Looking forward to getting this rifle out again under better conditions.
