I came across a full unopened bottle of this today. What are it's main uses?

I use it to load .45colt in my henry rifle. I load Lfn 250 gr bullets, 5.4 grs ( I thilnk i'd have to ck my book) for practice shooting. It's a good pistol powder.

itll load excellent light 12 ga loads. Perfect for doves and sporting clays.

Also itll do all the low pressure pistol rounds and even some of the higher pressure ones like 9mm and .38 super.

Don't listen to these guys, they don't know what their talking about. That is absolutely the worst powder to use for anything. Send it to me and I will be glad to dispose of it for you:D

I use it for trap loads.

looks like I will put it in the cabinet next to the 5 other jugs of shotshell powder then. I bought it thinking it was what JLA recommended for a .243 built in 1966. I had a text saying what to try but it got deleted. hint-hint Josh

.243 needs slow burners on par with .30-06 and .270 loads. One of my fav powders in .243 is Alliant Power Pro 4000MR. IMR4350 is another fantastic one. and for bullet weights below 85 grains IMR 4064 and 4007SSC are fantastic.

I have 4064 but tried to find 4350 last night as well as 4007ssc. I'd have better luck finding a Leprechaun riding a unicorn through a field of 4 leaf clovers. I'll look for 4000MR

700X is widely used in the smaller capacity brass pistol loads. I use it in my 38 special loads when using the lighter bullets. A pound of powder will last a long time. It is all I used for trap shooting. Which I no longer do. Eyes. If you don't load shotgun shells and don't have a pistol with a small capacity such as a .380, .38 special, 9MM. give it away to a friend that does. They will gladly take it off your hands.

I use 700X in 12 gauge trap loads and my .45 auto. Never got good results with .38 Spl. I think the bigger the bore, the better it works.

I use it in .38 spec. Wifes 158 gr loads with 3.5 gr. They are quite accurate.
