He was on Hannity this afternoon and yep, I wasn't too impressed with him when I lived down there, but right now, I'm considering a move back to Texas.

I'll be down there in a few weeks for a visit and can't wait to see my old friends again! :)

I think it's a lot of hot air. This will last until feds cut all funds and then see who bows down.
Almost all states, if not all, depend on federal dollars and can't survive without federal money,
that's how they are being controlled.
I've seen in past where states put in federal programs upon threats to cut funds. Primarily
    highway funds.

Guys, where does the federal money come from? The states! That is one of the points that he and many others have been making. There are some 33 states that are enacting some sort of 10th amendment legislation because the federal government is really stepping out of its bounds. All of this will succeed if "We the People" stand up and fight for our freedoms. If we just simply lay down, a socialist nation we will become!

From what I've seen, most, if not all, of the states that have been debating resolutions in favor of the 10th Amendment never got any of them passed; they've all apparently either been bogged down in committee, or have outright died in committee. The state legislatures want to make noise about standing up for the Constitution, but when it all comes down to it, they'll lay down, roll over, and take it from Barry and his closet-commie cronies all in the name of that federal dollar. If the state officials actually tell the feds to back off, they run the risk of losing all that coin from Uncle Sugar, and if they lose it, then they can't guarantee their salaries, pensions, gov't cars, gov't healthcare, etc. We've been sold out years, if not decades, ago all in the name of the allmighty dollar and in the name of these "leaders" wanting nothing more than to expand their power over us while they line their pockets.

This one will pass and Texas will lead the way on the 10th Amendment support. Are you kidding me, Gov. Perry is running for re-election against Kay Bailey Hutchison, he has to appear more conservative than her to win. Besides, he wants to be the next President of The Republic of Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D
