I was given an India Pattern Brown Bess musket by a friend recently. I would like to know more about this particular gun, possible history and value. The lock and the barrel are stamped with "US" which may mean it was a captured gun. There are many other stamp marks on the lock and barrel as shown in the attached pictures. The stock is stamped "J. Donnel or Donnely" on both sides and the top. 20180702_121939.jpg
Any information about this gun would be appreciated.
    Thanks
