This is a double barrel Ithaca Shot gun that was given to my Dad by his mother sometime from late 1930's early 1940's. I don't know much on guns so bare with me on description.

On the top of the barrels it says: Western Arms Branch Ithaca Gun Co, Inc Ithaca, NY. On the other barrel it says: Long Range Gun. I think my Dad said it was either a 12 or 16 gauge? When you cock the gun open, it has 55620 PATD. It also has on both sides on the metal above the trigger (which is a double trigger?) a hunting dog pointing in the grass.

Anyway, any info or value range would be appreciated as I searched but couldn't really find anything and now the manufacturer has closed. Thanks!
