I inherited an Iver Johnson .22 cal. Revolver. SN: E19711 is under the grip. I am not so much interested in value as I am in the history and date of manufacture. It is a family heirloom and will not be sold. Pictures are better than words, so here are some pictures.

Third Model Safety Automatic Hammer Revolver, .22 rim fire caliber. The serial number sequence in 1915 was E17701 through E19900, 2200 were made that year. The Third Model was in production from 1910 until 1941, 32 years of production. The grips shown are not original, which is not surprising for a firearm that has been well used.
