Hi I have a US Revolver Co Iver Johnson 32 5 shot relvover. chromed with pearl handles and with stamped No on the trigger guard of 58230.
Pics below. Was hoping someone could help me date this revolver.
Thanks!
The above should be helpful.
Now, we want to help you but you have to help us help you.
You can start by removing the left grip on your revolver
and giving us the correct serial number. It will probably began with a letter.
Thanks and welcome to TFF.
Hello shooter 45 - my apologies on getting it started in the wrong thread. I checked the number under the grip and it was the same number preceded by the letter A. So A58230.
Thanks.
It was made in 1923 and is considered a black powder frame. It is chambered in .32 S&W and is not safe for modern smokeless ammo.
The grips are not original, and may actually be worth more than the gun. The original grips would have been rubber with a US at the top. They were probably for an Iver Johnson and somebody replaced them.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
