Iver Johnson - .32 please help with dating

    IMG_4238.JPG IMG_4237.JPG Hi I have a US Revolver Co Iver Johnson 32 5 shot relvover. chromed with pearl handles and with stamped No on the trigger guard of 58230.
    Pics below. Was hoping someone could help me date this revolver.

    Hello shooter 45 - my apologies on getting it started in the wrong thread. I checked the number under the grip and it was the same number preceded by the letter A. So A58230.

    It was made in 1923 and is considered a black powder frame. It is chambered in .32 S&W and is not safe for modern smokeless ammo.

    The grips are not original, and may actually be worth more than the gun. The original grips would have been rubber with a US at the top. They were probably for an Iver Johnson and somebody replaced them.
