Hi everybody,

My grandpa has an Iver Johnson .32 that he acquired from his dad way back in the day. He asked me if I could try to help him find out how old it is and around what it's worth just for curiosities sake (He doesn't plan on getting rid of it, and nor would I). I've read a lot about the 3 different models, but I don't know much about firearms at all  so I thought I'd just go ahead and post a thread and ask some body that does. ;) Any help would be greatly appreciated! and Happy New Year!

Here are some pictures:

Iver Johnson made solid utilitarian inexpensive firearms ( and a lot of them ) for the every day guy. They are picking up a collectors interest because like new pristine examples can still be found at an affordable price. The one shown is well worn and would perhaps bring 100 to 150 to the right buyer. It is made for modern smokeless cartridges and if in good mechanical condition can be fired with new ammo.
