Can any one tell me anyting about this gun think it is a 38 S&W beyound that I am lost. it is not a functioning gun the cylinder has no controll. just a colledction peace
You have and Iver Johnson 2nd Model Safety Hammer Automatic revolver made between 1895-1908. It was chambered in .38 S&W and is considered a black powder frame. Remove the left grip and get the full serial number on frame to give year of manufacture.
This model had a free spooling cylinder which allowed the cylinder to rotate by hand.
