I have an Iver Johnson arms and cycleworks break style revolver.
Serial # D29468
How do I find information on it? Caliber? When it was manufactured?

Well, don't know, first not nearly enough information, you need to read the sticky at the top of the forum. That D prefix & serial number was used at least twice on the large frame ( 38 S&W ) hammerless, once in 1897 ( black powder ) and again in 1911 ( smokeless frame ). Was the serial number and Letter prefix on the bottom of the butt strap or under the left grip. What are the markings on the top of the revolver and are there any markings on the bottom of the butt strap? Really need clear photos guy, to be valid about any information. Help us to help you
