I am trying to find a value and approximate age of an Iver Johnson 12 gauge single shot. The following markings are on the gun: Side - Champion(line 1) Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works (line 2) Fitchburg Mass USA (line 3) Top of barrel - 12 GAUGE CHOKE BORE BARREL AND LUG FORGED IN ONE Behind trigger guard - 29242 XH Butt - Iver Johnson and picture of an owl.

This gun belonged to my husbands mother who passed away in 1985. He has many memories of her shooting squirrels off the front porch with this gun.

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
