Serial number M75092. I’m hoping someone can tell me date of manufacture and if anyone has a good suggestion on literature for Iver Johnson firearms? I just wasted $25 on a book and would prefer not do it again if possible. Thank you in advance. Happily paid $250 at local gun store. My old man always said guns are for buying not for selling 👍

Your revolver was made in 1949.

The best book on Iver Johnson is "Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works Firearms 1871-1993" (2nd Edition) by W.E. Goforth published in 2006. Right now the least expensive copy I can find is $99.95 plus shipping on eBay.
