Can I get a best guess on value & build date for my IJ pistol. .32 cal
good condition overall. ?black powder?


Ser # looks to be / F 49 341 .32 cal Double-Action (with hammer)

Owl is corret, looking to barrel. (on grips) double top latch

Top of barrel rib,

Owl is looking to the barrel, cylinder is free wheeling when at rest, for black powder cartridges

Double top latch, manufactured from 1897 - 1899, serial number with A, E or F letter prefix, marked on the top of the barrel rib

Well, it seems you've done most of the hard work, yours was made in 1899, Black powder frame. Second Model, Small Frame Automatic Hammer Revolver.

Thank you Sir. Would you think $250-300.00 range? (without pic) I got this gun, when my Uncle passed. Was NOT Sure if it was really a Black Powder.
