Hello Guys,


I need Your Help.

I need to know which tread is used on barrel IJ Defender 1889, its left(counterclockwise) or right (clockwise) (event.if you know UNEF or metric tread)???

I have a .32 Defender 89. These were inexpensive guns when manufactured. The barrel on mine threaded counterclockwise if you are looking from the muzzle to the frame. They would not have use mertic threads back then. Firearm manufacturers used some obsolete thread pitches back then so may not be something you can reproduce. I am not sure how they secured the barrels either, I had to use Loctite to secure my barrel back in the frame.

thanks for your experience, I'll wait until maybe someone who has the same defender(in cal.22), (but should be the same).
