Would like to know any information, and worth of a J. Stevans .22 lever action, with pat. date 1784 on barrell.

Ma'am, Stevens made countless different types of 22 lever action rifles. If you could put up some pictures of the gun and the markings on it, it would help people here help you.

Welcome to TFF. Chances are you have an old Stevens 'Favorite' model.

The patent date is abbreviated, and is not 1794 bur APR 17'94 (1894).

A Favorite weighs only 4 or 5 pounds, but they also made a larger and heavier 'Ideal' series that look almost the same but weigh 7 pounds or more.
