Guys I have a Kimber custom .45 cal in 100% condition. It is roll marked Klakamas OR. Does it have any collector value as compaired to a Yonkers NY model?

What is it's approximate value.
PS: It has a fairly low serial #

Come on you guys; someone must have a clue about a Kimber.

I'm hoping that a re-post will get it noticed

No question is boring - it's just a matter of getting the right guy to come up with the answer. Is Oregon somewhere in Spain? No? Dang, guess I'm no help then.

Well, obviously that is one of the very first Kimber pistols c.1996.

I have not heard of any premiums being paid for Oregon marked 1911's. There is collector interest in the Kimber of Oregon rifles, but that is a different story. Yours is a Kimber of America gun, made before they moved to NY.

Quality pistol, good resale value as a shooter - no collector interest.
