After Steve gave a range report on his 1911, he didnt like his grips that came on the gun due to them being VZs and being very aggressive they were hard on the hand. He said he was going to change them out and I offered to buy them from him. He said no, he would give them to me and I should send him my address. I got a package in the mail today and got the grips! Thanks to Steve for the gift, its just a testimony of the character of our members here at TFF. The best gun forum on the web, hands down.

Took a look at them on the VZ site. They do look like they would be uncomfortable. I make my own to fit me tho, so I'm probably somewhat prejudiced.

I already had a set on another gun and I like them so I knew what I was getting. I have a nickel plated citidel I put them on and they are perfect!! One thing is for sure, the gun will never slip out of your hand.
