Ahhh yes....I remember those days on the flight line at Williams AFB, Chandler....don't you, joe45?.....:D:D

Can't say I miss them either. I miss lots about Arizona but summer isn't one of them.

Even the rain is dry rain.;)
I thought i remember back in 1973 it hit 115 degrees in June. I know rooter said the 116 is the new record but i would have thought they would have broken the record before now.

I know it was hotter than that on the flight line but that is its own environment. Couple sections of concrete and about 100 planes spewing jet exhaust....yeah, it was hot.

116 degrees? Wow, a fella could cook a frozen omelet on the sidewalk.

Trust me SBE, I lived in NW Wyoming and I MUCH preferred it to Arizona. However, I'm much more of a winter guy anyway. Both places have their charm and beauty but I'd go back to Wyoming to live. I wouldn't go back to Arizona.

GOOD MORNING SIR.....I think I heard it was in the high teens and that is high for the
desert as we are currently in the 'monsoon season'...lots of prevailing southerly winds
coming up from the Mexico area... Thank the Lord for air conditioning...Best Regards. Chief

Oh yea i would prefer Wy over Az to live. Even my wife who's whole family still lives in Az doesn't want to live there now. We like NY's climate and scenery. It's just the other crap that is getting really hard to take!
