Looking for 1" flares

788 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  tmacfred
I have owned a WWI brass flare gun for many years, however I cannot seem to find any flares for it and most searches only find flares for more recent guns. Does anyone know of any sources for 1" flares for this old pistol?
Thanks,

I think you may have a 25mm flare pistol. Google should turn up vendors, probably maritime chandlers.

Any identification markings on your pistol? Pics would certainly help.
i see 26.5 stuff for sale all over..
1 inch = 25.4 mm.

Most likely a 25mm flare is needed.

Thanks guys. It is a Webley & Scott made in 1918 in England. I may post a picture if I can figure out how to do it. I'm new to the forum. :)
