    Hi folks:

I acquired a 1942 94 Winchester rifle that needs some parts:
1 carrier screw (part #29 from this schematic: http://www.gun-parts.com/winchesterrifle/1894.jpg )
1 finger lever stop screw (part # 15 from the same schematic).

it says 30 cal on the barrel but chambers a 30-30 (I guess that still qualifies but technically it's a different bullet).

Can someone direct me to a vendor?

I sent an order & credit card # to the website owner (gun-part.com) in Oct. On their website they say it takes 5 weeks to process an order but I haven't received any merchandise or response and it's almost Jan. Does anyone know if they are a scam?

    Thanks
    Mous :)

Try Scott Marston, Classic Firearms and Parts LLC, www.CFnParts.com, 603-731-4866. Scott is a smaller dealer in gun parts who has quite a lot of Winchester parts and is honest and a really good guy. IrishFritz

I just picked up a part for my 1920's Winchester pump Gallery gun from

    https://jack-first-gun-parts.myshopify.com

They more than likely will have what you need. They make replacement parts for Winchesters. The more modern gun parts suppliers like Brownell only handle parts for current guns. With Numerich you might get the right part and might not or the part you get is junk. At least that is my experience.

You can also try Homestead parts. They have lots of parts for Winchesters.

Your gun is marked 30 W.C.F. for 30 caliber Winchester Center Fire. That is what Winchester referred to as the 30-30 prior to just after WWII when they changed the marking to 30-30. They are one and the same.
