I just acquired my Grandfather's US Revolver Co. 5 shot .32 break top revolver & I'd like to know how old it is.

The serial # under the grip is A37855 & the one under the trigger guard is 87855.

It was manufactured in 1921, and the condition is amazing. It is chambered in .32 S&W not, .32 S&W Long.

These we manufactured by Iver Johnson using surplus 2nd Model Safety Automatic frames after they switched to the 3rd Model. They are considered blackpowder guns, not safe for modern smokeless ammunition.
