Im interested in a local shop producing me a copy of the
USMC 870 MK1/MK 2 bayo mount adapter. Made from cheap steel
then given a parkerised ( horrible grammer I know ) finish. All in all
I only want to spend about $200 on this. I could prob duracoat it
my self.........
Speaking of duracoat can I refinish a wooden stock this way?

If you can find someone that has one for an example, then I would think a machinist could turn one out for what you're looking to spend. Be prepared to spend a little more though, I'm thinking it would take 4-5 hrs to do and they may charge more than $50/hr.

Yes, you can duracoat wooden stocks, as with all coatings, prep well and your end results will last a lifetime.

Would a few good photos be sufficient since I dont have access to one.
Or a 3d image...... that would require one also.

You'd have to have measurements to go with the photos, and what areas are critical dimensions. I've done a couple of sight adjusting tools for rifles that I don't own and it required several mailing back-and-forths to get them right.
