I need two magazines for a Belgium 9mm Hi Power. Where can I find them?
Brownells has original Browning mags for $55.
Generally the factory mags are the best for any gun with a few exceptions. Triple K mags can be terrible, in general. Some European guns come with Mecgar mags and they are really good magazines.
the magazine made by krd sold through cdnn are made to military specs they are highly rated, by steven camp at the hi power forum. mr camp is a leading authority on the hi power. they are 1/3 the money and hold 15 or 17 rounds depending on the base you install i've used them for years without complaint.
I read somewhere that Mecgar manufactured the magazines for the Hi Power for Browning, or at least, did at one time.
I use KRD 17-shot mags as my rpimary carry mags and they have always been satisfactory. Never had one fail me.
I also have a large collection of factory mags, but they are 13 rounds. CDNN has always been a good source for me, too.
That link works so much better when you spell investments right.
I just saw tat Gallery of Guns has some in stock but I didnt see the ask price.
Mecgar used to make excellent magazines for the HP, dont know if they still do. Also if you can get original Browning mags, they are almost always reliable.
Newer ones have two little slots at the lower back edge for a spring to assist the mags drop. Though I have to say, I used to remove them with pliers figuring I was better without them.
