I have a Ruger 10/22 WMR that I believe was made by Magnum Research
(Hogue stock & graphite barrel with stainless ends). It has a Leopold 3x-9x scope on it. I bought it from someone about 15 years ago ... but have not used it much ... until now. I have several questions:

1. How can I tell how old it is ... when Ruger manufactured it or Magnum made it?

2. Does Ruger make extended magazines for it? The standard 9 round magazines are too hard to take out ... and it seems not to work well with after-market magazines.

3. What is its maximum usable range?

Thank you,

Bill

I cant tell you much about the 10/22 WHR as I've never owned one.
But as for the age/date of mfg., you can go to Rugers web site and once you've
clicked on the Rifle and caliber, you can go to the left part of their page and with the
first three numbers of the serial number, you can get the Date of Manufacture.
(within a year or two)
