I would appreciate an opinion on the value of the above rifle details as follows,
    MADE IN AUSTRIA.
    Patent
    Mannlicher
    Schoenauer
    M1903
    Serial number 23540
Full stock ,cheek piece, chequered, swivels ,steel buttplate with
    compartments for cleaning gear.
    Barrel about 17-1/2"
    6,5x54 soft point 159 grains length1.20 in.

    Scope SupraSI.yt-21/2x22L72E/S Nc 411738
    MADE IN GERMANY--Nickel
    MARBURG
    POST AND CROSSHAIR
    Clever fast remove mounts
Barrel stock and scope all in excellent condition
So what is a fair price?

Pictures would be a big help....But I would say the combination would be (in 90%+ condition) worth $2,500-$2,700, or a bit more. If, it is not a sporterized military rifle. The carbines are like great art, and so are Nickle scopes. They have Ziess glass in them. By the way the scope tube is 26mm, not 1". The scope and mount should be kept with the rifle. Best regards Kirk
