marlin 783

    i have a marlin 783. recently i was told they were hard to find. now im wondering what the value it is. the barrel is stamped "the marlin firearms co. north haven conn u.s.a.model 783 micro groove barrel cal 22 wmr only". the stock has a couple of scuffs but still has a good finnish , the barrel has a few pits

    any info would be appreciated

    Here's what the Blue Book says:

    Marlin Models 780, 781, 782, and 783 Bolt Action:

    98% - $85
    95% - $75
    90% - $70
    80% - $65

    Add $17-$25 for Models 782 and 783.
