Love to go but 4 solid days (2400+ miles total) of just driving back and forth makes it tough. I wish you all luck. Maybe someday I'll catch a flight cause it would sure be nice to meet you folks face to face.

Okay my wife has given me the Okay to go if I can get a gig down there or someone will take me to bag a couple hogs to bring home. She said she wants more jowl bacon, and we need the meet in the freezer.

Would be nice to get together with folks seeing how we roast each other every day. But a bit of travel which doesn't come easy with dialysis.

Maybe there could be a wandering and roaving gathering from place to place across this great land during the warmer months.

Do we have a target date yet? I don't need exact but "Spring" in my mind means anytime in March, April or May. I have to plan or at least schedule trials and mediations around my personal calendar.

I know how much work goes into planning something like this and Kudos to OP and all those helping. If suggestions are still being taken for activities, I like FreedomAndForgiven's suggestion to help cull the local pig population.

If we have one again this year it will be the last weekend of April.

Pencil me in, Myles. It's much too early to know what I'll be doing then, but I'll do my best to get there. It's a long haul, but I had no trouble going from here to Amarillo in one run, the first time I went to Anderson, MO. It was the trip back here from Anderson, non-stop, that knocked the wind out of my sails. Waco can't be that much farther than Amarillo...

Yeah Tiger, for me also...it would be so nice to meet and greet the troops at a get-together..
There was a time when I'd not have given it a second thought but to have loaded up my
gear and be on the road....maybe someone with the pertinent equipment can post some
pictures as to what the troops look like...you guys who have claimed to look like Brad Pitt
or George Clooney.... maybe Steven Segal! I kid you not....Chief

Never been told I look like those. I've been told I look like the lead singer of Ever clear, the lead singer of Incubus, Steve-O from Jack a**, and I look like I'm angry all the time lol
