Do the mini shells work in 870s? I also have a Chinese Hawk 870 clone.
I'm really a 20 ga. guy, but I do have several 12s, and I thought it might be fun to try some of the minis.
Any advice?

I hear they will jam in a 870. Did I read there was a modification or something you could do to make them work?

I bought some for a double for the daughter.

The mini shells work in a Mossberg pump, but not in the 870's without a magwell adapter. I saw a demonstration on YouTube.

as others have said. they work ok in a mb pump.. but not so much in an 870

That adapter is way cheaper than the Mossberg pump.

I know about the Opsol adapter for the Mossberg, but know of no adapters made for the Remingtons.

The mini shells are nothing to write home about. Really not worth buying another shotgun for them.

No, they're 1,750" long.

They are also made in several different lengths from 1.5" to 2.25".
