Added another Mossberg to the pile, Ran across this 144LS at a gun show. Didn't have the original Peep sight on it, they screwed a S-130 peep to it with long screws that bond up the bolt and would not allow it to open. Removed it and put a Leupold 4X I had laying around on it.
Tore it down and gave it a good bath and lube and sighted it in today. Used some Eley Subsonic HP's, shot pretty good, sighted at 70 yds. This is my third 144, I need two more to complete the set, still on the hunt for a 144LSB and a 144US.
