I love the 590, it's my usual HD gun; throw a tac-light on there also! It's a workhorse and a good combo of mag capacity and barrel length, 8 +1 is hard to beat for a short shotgun.

good score

Well, nuts! I was gonna go out back this morning and try it out, pattern, etc. But it started snowing about the time the sun came up, and the weather guy said it will continue till this afternoon. 2" or so. I don't do well in the snow, so I reckon I'll just call it a snow day and play tomorrow or the next day. Rats! :bleh:

Finally got outside this am to try out this 590. Loaded 'er up with 2 3/4" RIO #4 buck. These are high brass 1 1/4oz load, ~ 27 .24" pellets. Set up some large cardboard at 30ft and got a nice approx 20" spread, which is right in line with theoretical. The 590 is a cylinder bore - no choke. Sorry, didn't take pics. No problems with feed, ejection, or anything else. Real happy with it, and I pity the fool who enters my kill box. ;) :)

she's a real 'show stopper' for sure. I keep mine loaded with alternating OO buck and #4 buck, my two favorites. And a box of OOO on the nightstand next to it. It lives about a foot from my head when I sleep.

And send some snow our way! All we've got this year is fog and 'frosting' on the trees, no white stuff yet...

Only got about 2" snow the other day, and it was gone by the next morning. Might get another little bit in a week or 2, but not likely.
